“Growing up, I was always exposed to spirituality. We had everything in our home from family altars, statues of Buddha, rosaries, and literature from all around the world. My mother taught us to look for deeper meaning in our dreams while our father taught us the importance of prayer and gratitude.

The spiritual path became more clear to me when I was introduced to mantras and oli. It was in the same year that I learned about both of these voice offerings. It was in the mana of singing and vibrating ancient texts that my mind became more grounded in my heart and my heart more grounded in the ‘āina.

The path of yoga and becoming a steward of the land allowed me to evolve into the teacher and that I am today.

It’s my mission to share ‘Ike Hawai’i through a context of connecting with self through ‘āina.”
